I’m asked the question; Why Do I Write.

I ask you the question; Why do you sing? Why do you dance? Why do you paint?

Any of these can be answered in just one word. EXPRESSION.

I have something to say. Something to express. You have a story you need to express as well. You, over there, your expression is a ballad in song, while the one next to you expresses her feelings in dance. Then near by to her, an easel is set up for a young man who would tell his story in color and texture.

There is a story to be told and I feel that I was meant to tell. Feelings which I must express in words and rhyme.

That, my friends is why I write.
